Berkeley Madonna is a mathematical modelling software package used for numerically solving ordinary differential equations, difference equations and multi-dimensional transcendental algebraic equation roots. It is one of the fastest differential equation solver and was originally developed at the University of California at Berkeley for modeling and visualization of chemical reactions.

Its features include easy to use and powerful user interface, fast execution and interactive parameter exploration and visualization. It is very commonly used in the development of pharmacometric models describing drug concentration and its effects in drug development, and modeling of physiological processes.
